Right now, we are in the process of formulating our actions for the year. Please add your voice to it.

Current Ideas that we are working on:

• As part of our vigilance, we adopted a-theme-a-week demonstration for the Sunday demonstrations.

Here are the schedules for the next few weeks:

Economy — February 8

Energy — February 15

Healthcare — February 22

NO ON PROPOSITION 8 — MARCH 1

Bush Administration investigation, especially war crimes — March 1 changed to March 8

Environment — March 8 changed to March 15

War in Iraq and Afghanistab — March 15 changed to March 22

• Our garden and gardening project at Ron’s place—on-ground bed, raised bed (what kinds), fertilizer, compost and soil. The consensus is that we will try all ideas and determine which works best at our garden (Ron’s place). Furthermore, we will encorage and promote that all Ramonans with an yard do establish a garden. Please send your ideas to Cathy—you can use either the Comment or the Contact Us links.

• Participating in Farmers Market: we will participate in the Farmers’ Market. However, there are some legal maneuverings going on between the organizers and the county. We may have to do more than just participation.

• Proposed monthly or bi-weekly town hall type of discussion open to the public with announced schedule? There is a general support for the proposal, but we need to generate more concrete ideas. Please send your opinion.
